Free Car Parking is plentiful. You can park at designated free car parks: opposite the Ardrishaig Cooperative Store, Chalmers Street Ardrishaig; in Lochgilphead there is designated free car park at Lorne Street with entry also from Poltalloch Street (A83). There are some parking spaces at the road side in some areas.

Cycle hire, ideally situated, for going along the Crinan Canal towpath or, for the more adventurous, up onto the forest tracks. If you are coming into the Canal by boat, you can have a one way hire, collecting the bike either from Pier Square, Ardrishaig or from Crinan Boatyard then leaving the bike at the other location at the end of your transit. Ardrishaig Harbour has a close association with Crinan Canal, if the Canal had not been built Ardrishaig would have had no harbour. Ardrishaig Pier was first opened in 1873. The harbour is arranged into two parts: (1) North side is where the Crinan Canal Locks are and the TimberLink is active. (2) further South are areas for pontoons and anchoring of boats.
